The EmpowerHer Journey Foundation, founded by Italia Tornabene, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting homeless single mothers and sex workers. The foundation's mission is to provide comprehensive resources and support to help these women transition to stable, fulfilling lives. EmpowerHer Journey offers assistance in areas like housing, education, skill development, childcare, and mental health support. Additionally, they provide small business start-up assistance, legal advocacy, and transportation services.
Tornabene created the foundation based on her own experiences overcoming hardship and adversity. EmpowerHer Journey is focused on empowering women to break free from cycles of poverty and exploitation, giving them the tools to build independent futures for themselves and their children.
